Pumpkin Patch 2012

Monday afternoon was beautiful, so we decided to head to the pumpkin patch as soon as school was out.  We headed to Pome on the Range in Homewood this year, since it was just down the road from where Clint was working.  It was a bit of a hike to the patch, but we got some great pumpkins!  We also picked up some mums to put with our fall decorations, as well as some apple wine!

After we left the pumpkin patch, Robbi went back to the farm with Daddy to help him finish up his chores.

Grayson turns 2

Robbi attended her cousin, Grayson's, second birthday party this afternoon!  He had an Elmo theme, with lots of fun activities!  The weather was perfect, so Robbi was able to play on the slide in the back yard, and then eat out on the patio.  After the cookout, we moved inside to create birthday hats, color, put on tattoos, face paint, eat dessert, and open presents!  It was a great party- Robbi had so much fun!  Happy Birthday, Grayson!

I tried to keep Robbi awake long enough to see her Daddy when he got home, but you can see here that she was clearly too tired from all that partying!

Can I have S'more please?!

Tyler and Kasi attended a wedding Saturday night, so Robbi got to hang out with her cousins, Ryen and Avery.  We had planned to start a fire in our new fire pit, and we were determined not to let the rain stop us.  Ryen and I headed to Wal-Mart and bought our supplies, and returned home just after the rain stopped.  We knew we had just enough time to get outside and make some smores before the next set of storms rolled through.  I took the pictures on my phone, in the dark- so they didn't turn out too well!

Here is Clint starting the fire...

Sorry, this is the best one I got of Avery!

A Day with Daddy!

After getting to spend all day with Clint on Saturday (a very rare occassion), Robbi and I were really missing Daddy today.  We decided we would drive out to spend some more time with him, and check in on those new baby calves.  Robbi had a great time, she is such a lucky gal to have a Daddy that likes to teach her so much!

Car Show Weekend

This weekend marked the 26th annual Ol'Marais River Run Car Show.  Our 1966 Lincoln Continental was entered by my brother for the 9th year in memory of my dad.  This was the first year that Robbi was actually able to enjoy the festivities, which was very special for me as this is one of the greatest memories I have of my dad.  I wasn't able to take any pictures of the 60s Cruise Night as my camera had died by that time, but here are a few pictures of our afternoon!

Taking Steps

Little Miss Robbi Claire is finally taking her first steps at 14 1/2 months old!  She is able to take 3 or 4 steps, then realizes she is walking and gets really excited, and then falls down.  Hopefully we will have this whole walking thing down in a few weeks!

And a few more pictures of her absolute most favorite thing in the entire world- riding her tricycle!
